Everything changes but you.
I know it's a little late, but welcome 2012! So much has changed in the age I've neglected this little blog; the boy, the dog and I have moved to my hometown in the English Riviera and I've gone through two jobs, a slightly brutal haircut and the first proper family christmas in 8 years.
I've fallen in and out of love with all kinds of girly lotions and potions these last few months, but I'm easing back into blogging with a quick In's and Out's, inspired by the inhumanly gorgeous Tali over at The Gloss Goss and her lust worthy favourites features.
In
Mum's Bread and Butter Pudding, new shoe storage, Carmex Intensive, dog as hot water bottle, blow drying taking less than an hour, Chelsea boots, anticipating goodies from Christing C, Haus of Gloi perfume oils, stealing the boy's scarf, Nivea Creme. My beauty routine is in survival mode.
Out
Being made redundant, the boy being made redundant on the same day, little bro stranded on the other side of the country due to snow, any beauty product that doesn't contain the word 'moisture' in it's name, the dog chewing my new Lita-alikes and the passing of a hero putting all this into perspective. RIP Eve Arnold.

I have a confession...
...I'm addicted to beauty blogging. My name is Lucy and I have a problem.
After a hard day at work in my job in Retail, I'm itching for my fix. And what is it? A kiss from my lovely other half*? A wrestle with my dog*? A glass of wine?
Nope, I can't wait to plonk myself down with a cup of tea and read some of the awesome, inspiring, funny posts that my favourite bloggers have posted. There's a whole list of lovely ladies on my blog list, some of whom I've been following for nearly two years! If I can raise a chuckle, set off the old 'ooh, I'll have a look at that next time in Boots', or at the very least, find a half decent black eyeliner, I'd be pleased to follow in their footsteps.
Ladies, I hope to make you proud!
